Cape May, a national historic landmark town, was voted one of the ten most beautiful small towns in America. Visitors will enjoy the beaches, the Victorian architecture, world class dining, entertainment and shopping on the newly renovated Washington Street Mall.

West Cape May, a quieter area adjacent to Cape May, is just a short walk or bike ride to the beaches and Washington Street Mall. It has it's own lovely shops and diverse restaurants as well as a park that hosts a variety of antiques and craft fairs and local festivals.

Cape May Point is located at the southern tip of the island. It is a quiet community that is a favorite of bird lovers. "The Point" is home to the ca. 1859 Cape May Lighthouse located in Cape May Point State Park. At the tip is Sunset Beach with a nightly flag lowering ceremony, shops and snack bar.

The offshore communities, including Cold Spring, Townbank, North Cape May and Cape May Beach are only 5 to 10 minutes from the center of Cape May. The bayside is home to the Cape May – Lewes Ferry and some of the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see.
